“Great food, fine wines and sharing experiences” is our life’s passion. As a matter of fact, ALL your meals are personally prepared by our chef. She will surprise you with her creative and tantalizing cuisine, mostly prepared with fresh fruits and vegetables picked from the property’s organic vegetable and herb gardens. Ruth will take you into her spacious kitchen to teach you all about the local specialties or introduce you into the inspiring flavors of the world cuisine. All classes have a strong emphasis on professional cooking techniques, fresh ingredients and healthy eating. You will learn how to slice and dice like an expert. Did you ever have questions about what wine to serve with your food? Well, let us introduce you in the fascinating world of pairing food with some of the best Chilean wines With more than 17 years experience as chef and culinary advisor to wineries, Ruth is the indicated person to guide you.

In Mapuyampay, you will be comfortably housed in one of the 5 spacious and cosy rooms on the property, each with its unique decoration, private bathroom and terrace. Your privacy and well-being is secret to us. We only accept 10 to 12 guests at the same time, to be able to offer you true hospitality and personalized service.
For families or a group of friends, Mapuyampay also disposes of a fully-equipped cabin, with kitchen area, a matrimonial bedroom and a smaller bedroom with two single beds; terrace and private garden area. The ideal spot to stay for a longer period of time (Ask for our special week and month rates).
Mapuyampay is quietly nestled in the foothills of the majestic Andes Mountains, at only 2 hours drive south of Santiago. It’s a little off the beaten paths, away from touristy areas, that’s why it’s so peaceful here. Actually, we are right in the heart of Chile’s wine country, only one hour away of the Andean village Los Queñes with its breathtaking views, or the colonial town of Santa Cruz; ideal for interesting day trips and olive growers or winery visits.
