FROM SANTIAGO:
Take Ruta 5 SUR (or highway 5 to the South) to km 163, ( you will pass Rancagua, San Fernando, Chimbarongo) until you reach the second Toll Payment station Quinta/Morza , go through and leave the highway immediately, take direction MORZA, pass the bridge over Ruta 5, towards the mountains. You will drive through the village of Morza until you reach the bridge “Puente el Sauce”, go over this new bridge and turn right immediately after bridge, direction Huemul. You’ll follow this dirt road (in good conditions) for about 5 km until you reach the little community of Huemul, here the road is asphalted again. At your right side you will pass “la Posta de Huemul”, the college “Escuela de Huemul” and you will see 2 small churches/chapels with a road in the centre. Take this road, pass a small stream (little water, no problem) and continue about 1 km until you reach Mapuyampay. Welcome.
